My Our family has surrounded Mariah with love since the moment she came into our home. Her Great Great Grandma (96), 2 Great Grandmas, 1 Great Grandpa, 2 Grandmas, 2 Grandpas, Father, 3 Great Aunts, 2 Great Uncles, Aunt, 2 Uncles, 3 Cousins once removed, and a host of other family and friends are there to support her throughout her life and to make sure all her needs are met. I (the father) am truly grateful for all the support my family has given me and the baby. I could not do this alone but thank God I don't have to. I have the best team in the world supporting and loving me and the baby, and thats the most important thing in life.
Daddy

My daddy loves me! Thats right baby I do love you! I am Clark Stevens and am the proud father of the beautiful and perfect Mariah Verle Stevens. I found out suddenly and unexpectedly that I was a father while I was training in Wisconsin to deploy to Iraq for the second time. At first I was confused, because I had seen the mother about a month before she gave birth, and looked like she hadn't gained a pound. However now I am just glad that Mariah is in my life. I am 24 years old and am working on my 6th year of military service. I did 3 and a half years in active duty, including one combat tour in Iraq, and am now in the 81st Brigade Washington Army National Guard, getting ready for my second tour. I am about halfway through my bachelors degree in business. After this combat tour I will transfer to the University of Washington to finish up my last two years of school. Mariah is my first child, and I am a little bit overwhelmed learning about how to take care of a baby. In the past week I have learned how to change diapers, prepare a bottle, burp the baby, give her baths, and dress her. I still have much to learn and from what I have heard a daddy never stops learning. I look forward to the challenge of raising this beautiful child.
